Anger Management

Anger is a very natural and important emotion that drives us to make changes to situations that negatively impact on our lives. Anger can empower us to stand up for our rights, and protect us if we feel under threat. However, having too much anger impacts on quality of life and our relationships with other people.

Anger management teaches clients to deal with anger in a healthy way. Rather than ridding clients of the emotion, anger management begins with practising self-awareness, learning to take a step back and to assess the anger. Clients learn how to express the thoughts behind the emotion in a way that feels comfortable.
